Privacy Policy

Information We Process

• Site analytics: Google Analytics 4 processes information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, referring pages, and interactions with site features. Google may process an IP address and use pseudonymous identifiers to provide session and aggregate reporting to us.
• Newsletter subscriptions: If you choose to subscribe, we process your email address, consent, and signup time so we can send the updates you requested. Signup notifications and sent messages currently pass through the SaaS Scored Gmail account; we do not currently maintain a separate subscriber database.
• Requested tool reports: If you ask us to email a tool result, we process your email address and the result fields needed to create that report. The report is a one-time transactional message and does not subscribe you to the newsletter. A copy may remain in our Gmail sent mailbox until it is deleted.
• Tool and affiliate events: We use analytics events to understand tool starts, result views, report delivery, newsletter opt-ins, and outbound vendor clicks. These events can include the page, tool or vendor, and button position, but we do not send your email address in these analytics events.
• Messages you send us: If you contact us directly, we process the information in your message so we can respond.

How We Use Information

• Provide the newsletter or one-time report you requested
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and tools
• Measure which pages, tools, and recommendations are useful
• Prevent abuse, duplicate submissions, and automated spam
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use your tool-report email address for marketing unless you separately choose to subscribe.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

• Google Analytics: Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and sessions. Their duration depends on our analytics configuration and can be up to two years. You can use browser controls or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Affiliate partners: Some outbound vendor links are affiliate links. After you follow one, the vendor or affiliate network may set its own cookies and process information under its own privacy policy. Cookie duration and data use vary by partner.

Service Providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to run the site and deliver requested messages:

• Google: Google Analytics for site measurement and Gmail for delivery of subscription and tool-report emails. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Website hosting, deployment, request handling, and security. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Affiliate vendors and networks: Only when you choose to follow an outbound link, subject to the receiving party's terms and privacy policy.

Retention and Security

Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Subscription notices, sent reports, and direct messages can remain in the SaaS Scored Gmail account until they are deleted or are no longer reasonably needed. Service providers may retain limited backups under their own policies. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

• Unsubscribe by replying to a newsletter or emailing us
• Use browser settings or Google's add-on to limit analytics cookies
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold
• Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable
• Withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing

Children

SaaS Scored is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or providers change. Material revisions will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
